Looking for something a little “extra” at Alaska Fitness? We offer several add-on services to complement your membership.

Childcare

Don’t let parenthood stand in the way of your fitness! We have a spacious, newly remodeled childcare facility right on site, complete with its own bathroom, diaper changing station, TV with DVDs and giant chalkboard wall. Work out with peace of mind while your little one plays, draws, creates and makes new friends.

Babies and children age 1 month to 11 years are welcome. Our friendly, experienced childcare provider is CPR-certified. Care is available in single sessions or in packages.

Tanning

Whether you want to accentuate your hard work in the gym… get a base tan for that vacation… or just have an all-around healthy glow, you can get it at Alaska Fitness. Affordable tanning packages are available—no sun required!

InBody

The InBody 570 Body Scanner has arrived—and we’re the first fitness center in Alaska to have it! A step above traditional body composition analysis, this cutting-edge machine measures your body’s fat, muscle, BMI and water content with 99% accuracy. The data it obtains can help paint a vivid picture of your overall health and provide a road map for transforming it.

Single sessions and packages are available. Members receive discounted pricing.

Non-members are also welcome to use InBody, for a fraction of the price charged by doctor’s offices. It’s a great tool for tracking body fat and your fitness results over time. No appointment necessary!

Locker Rentals

Alaska Fitness provides complimentary day lockers with membership. If you’re looking for long-term storage of your workout belongings, we also offer paid large and small locker rentals on a monthly basis.
